Title IV基金的返还(R2T4)政策

The federal 政府ernment has established the Return of Title IV or R2T4 Policy which impacts financial aid recipients. This policy is not the same as the college refund policy. Financial aid is offered to students contingent upon completion of the semester. Federal financial aid recipients who withdraw prior to completing 60% of the semester will owe a repayment to the U.S. 政府. If it is determined that a portion of the financial aid received by the student is unearned, the college is required to return the unearned funds.

R2T4 refers to the calculation done when a financial aid student withdraws from all classes, receives a zero GPA or is entitled to a post-withdrawal disbursement. The calculation determines if it is necessary to return a portion of the federal financial aid that a student received and did not earn. Or it determines how much a student is entitled to receive as a post-withdrawal disbursement if the student earned the federal aid and was not paid yet.

If a calculation of R2T4 is performed, the student will be notified of the results. 根据联邦法规, 赌钱app可以微信提现 is required to return funds as soon as possible after the date of determination, 但不能迟于45天.

你的还款是如何计算的

以下是一个一般示例, to help you understand how R2T4 calculations are performed. Actual calculations will differ based on a student’s exact situation.

Determine the percentage of the semester completed.

Days attended ÷ days in the semester = percentage completed

If the calculated percentage exceeds 60% then you have earned all of the Title IV funds for the semester and no further action is required.

如果不是, then apply the percentage completed to the Title IV aid packaged to determine eligibility for aid prior to withdrawal.

Total aid disbursed × percentage completed = earned aid

Determine the amount of unearned aid to be returned to the appropriate Title IV aid program(s).

Total disbursed – earned aid = unearned aid to be returned

If the aid already disbursed equals the earned aid, no further action is required.

If the aid already disbursed is less than the earned aid, 可进行取款后付款, providing the eligibility criteria have been met. If the aid already disbursed is greater than the earned aid, the difference must be returned to the appropriate Title IV aid program(s).
